Due to the high demand of our Birthday Parties and Room Rentals, we recommend that you reserve your space two months in advance. To schedule a birthday party, email Discovery Center, or complete the Birthday Party Request Form. You can also call 815-963-6769 Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Birthday Parties
With this package, all you need to do is bring a birthday treat and drink for your guests. (No alcoholic beverages allowed; no kitchen or refrigeration facilities are available.) . Parties are $350 for up to 20 people. This number includes the birthday child, the family and any other children or adults attending the party. A $100 deposit is required to hold the party date and time; deposits must be made at least 10 days prior to the party date. All parties must be paid in full prior to the party date.
Birthday parties are limited to 20 people.
Birthday Party Packages include:
- Two (2) hour private use of room
- Invitations (you can pick them up from the Museum or we can mail them to you for $2.00)
- Admission into our museum for each party guest and time to explore
- Add Goodie Bags (with a free pass) for $8 per bag
