Advance registration for badge workshops and advance payment are required. A $25 non-
refundable deposit is due at the time of registration and the deposit counts toward the full amount.
An approximate number of participants is required for registration. Full payment and firm numbers
are due 2 business days prior to the event. The total minimum payment for all workshops is the cost
of 10 scouts, regardless of attendance. An additional supply/program fee may apply.***
We are following COVID-19 protocols during all scouting events at the museum. In accordance
with state and local health guidelines, all scouts, parents and staff will be required to wear face
coverings (over nose and mouth). Exceptions can be made for people with medical conditions
or disabilities that prevent them from safely covering their nose and mouth. Temperatures of all
participants will be checked prior to entry into the workshop.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds are available up to one week prior to the event, minus the deposit.
Discovery Center reserves the right to cancel events; in which case, a full refund will be issued.

- No charge for adults
- Minimum 10 total scouts and parents/Maximum 30 total scouts and parents.
- Due to capacity restrictions in the museum due to COVID-19, there is no museum time included
with scout workshops this fall. For information on renting the museum for your scouts and for
scheduled museum hours, please call 815 963-6769.
