Families will have the opportunity to enjoy having the museum to themselves on Saturday, April 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Children and families can play at Discovery Center before the museum opens to the general public. Staff from the Rockford Park District’s Therapeutic Recreation Department will be on hand with help and information.

Junior League of Rockford comes to Discovery Center for this FREE event focused on healthy eating and active lifestyles for children and their families. This FREE event is open to the public and is aimed at children ages 10 and younger and their families.
