Give the gift that keeps on giving…a Discovery Center membership!
A Discovery Center Museum membership is the perfect way to say, “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Holidays,” “Congratulations,” or “Thank You!”. A gift membership means giving a year of fun, joy, and learning for the whole family. Few things are more meaningful to a parent or grandparent than witnessing their children/grandchildren unleash their curiosity, discover a passion, or finally figure out how to do something. Annual memberships begin at $135 for a one-year Family or Grandparent membership.
Gift Memberships last all year long. There are several ways to give a gift membership.
- Purchase a gift membership online. The membership will begin as soon as the membership is purchased.
- Purchase the gift membership over the phone at (815)963-6769, weekdays 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday.
- You can also purchase a gift membership at our Admissions Desk at our Museum entrance.
Memberships are not refundable or transferrable.
Please keep in mind that memberships are to be used by people in the same household. A household is defined as two named adults as well as their children lving at the same address.
Adult siblings and in-laws may not be on the same membership. Adults and their parents cannot be on the same membership.
A single caregiver can be added to a family membership for $40. Caregivers cannot be added to grandparent memberships. Caregivers are permitted to come with the children in place of the parents, but not with the parents.
People ages 18 and older are considered adults and may not visit as a child on a membership.
