Discovery Center's miniature town, Safety City, provides a fun environment for children ages 3 to 6 to practice rules for staying safe. In Safety City, pre-schoolers:

• Become licensed tricycle drivers
• Follow traffic signals
• Board a bus safely
• Look both ways before crossing streets
• Respond to smoke in the "Survive Alive House"
• Practice "Stop, Drop & Roll"
• Drive a fire truck, and
• Dress in fire fighter uniforms

Dates: March 30 - April 9, 2009
Cost: Safety City only, $2.00 per student (teachers/chaperones free); Safety City plus Discovery Center, $4.50 per student and $3.50 per chaperone (teachers free)
Minimum of 10 students for all Safety City groups
