Advance registration for badge workshops and advance payment are required. A $25 non-
refundable deposit is due at the time of registration and the deposit counts toward the full amount.
An approximate number of participants is required for registration. Full payment and firm numbers
are due 2 business days prior to the event. The total minimum payment for all workshops is the cost
of 10 scouts, regardless of attendance. An additional supply/program fee may apply.***
Cancellation Policy: Refunds are available up to one week prior to the event, minus the deposit.
Discovery Center reserves the right to cancel events; in which case, a full refund will be issued.

Cub Scout Workshop Pricing & Booking
- Scout fee $11/scout
- No charge for adults
- Minimum 10 total scouts and parents
- Museum visit option: $6 per person group rate for scouts and adults with advanced online registration for a museum visit after the workshop
All topics will be adapted to meet the requirements of the different scout levels.
Forensics
Dig into the science of forensics investigation as you solve a crime at Discovery Center Museum. Offered in-person or virtual.
Space
Learn what it takes to travel to and inhabit the Moon and Mars and what NASA’s plans are for interplanetary robotic and human exploration. Offered in-person or virtual.
Robotics
Design and program Cubelets and Ozobots in this beginning coding and robotics workshop. In-person only.
Engineering
Explore the world of engineering while building and racing gravity cars, designing a simple motor and building a strong structure. Offered in-person or virtual.
Climate and Weather
Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Landslides Oh My! Study weather events, patterns and climate change in this earth-shaking workshop. In-person only.
Chemistry
Watch chemicals react as you mix chemicals in a bag and concoct some slime. In-person only.
Air and Flight
Take to the skies with this air-born workshop. Experiment and play with the amazing properties of air! Create flying contraptions, craft a kite and launch a rocket. In-Person only.
