Eligibility: Graduating High School Seniors
The Summer Arts Interns at Discovery Center play a key role in providing well-organized, seamless, fun, and educational summer arts programs and events. Responsibilities will be primarily visitor-facing and artistic in nature.
Key responsibilities include:
- Use art skills to design and create daily art projects for Discovery Center’s Art Studio.
- Participate in planning Family Friday events by creating an art component/project to the weekly event theme.
- Gain real life experience working with children.
- Ensure Art Studio is appropriately set up and supplied.
- Support Discovery Center educators in special event planning and execution.
- Assist with additional camps and programming within the museum.

15-20 hours/week
Paid position
Must be available to work Fridays from 9 AM – 4 PM, otherwise flexible scheduling
