Work Study Jobs

These positions are available only to college students who are eligible for financial aid through the Federal Work-Study Program.

Internships

Discovery Center Internships offer an exceptional and unique experience at an award-winning hands-on museum. We offer customized, staff-level internships in a broad range of disciplines to qualified college students, recent graduates and graduate students. Internships are non-compensated, but the experience is invaluable. Interns are placed with enthusiastic mentors who can help them develop future job skills and discover the inner workings of a major museum.

In many cases, you can "create an internship." Just send a letter of interest stating your internship goals, your desired time commitment and your availability to work. If your internship would benefit Discovery Center, and we have the staff to guide you, we will contact you.

Many of our interns receive academic credit for their work. Please contact your advisor or department chair to inquire about your school's policy.
